Kawhia Operational Support

Kawhia is a small town on the west coast of the North Island. The Brigade responds to a wide range of emergencies over a large distance - it can sometime take them over an hour to reach an incident.

The Operational Support Team respond to all of their Incidents and carry out all duties except Breathing Apparatus. The Brigade currently have 3 Op Support members after a few recently moved to become Operational Firefighters.
