Feilding Operational Support

The Feilding Operational Support Unit respond to all calls in the Feilding and Cheltenham district and is available to all brigades in the greater Manawatu area upon request.
The Feilding Brigade average approximately 400 calls per year and the Operational Support Unit provide a vital role at these calls. Their prime role is to provide traffic management, scene safety and lighting, along with post incident salvage, welfare, first aid, water supply at rural fires and together with Palmerston North Operational Support can provide canteen facilities (including both hot and cold food) if required.
All members are trained to Medical Co-Response level and can respond to any medical calls the Feilding Brigade receive.
