Kaiwaka Operational Support

The Kaiwaka Volunteeer Fire Brigade currently consists of 16 members, with 2 Operational Support personnel. They are a single pump station, and calls usually consist of fires (structural and rural), MVCs and medical calls.
Even though they are a small brigade they do occasionally have some big events to deal with, and even had a 5th alarm a few years ago.
The Operational Support members assist by providing scene control, and respond to medical calls - as one is currently a practicing nurse and the other is ex-Ambulance.
