Huntly Operational Support

The Huntly Volunteer Fire Brigade responds to around 360 calls per year, including structure fires, MVAs, industrial incidents and all emergencies. Additionally, they also get called to medical calls, which is an option for their members - as it's not for everyone.
The Operational Support members respond to all types of fire calls as there are roles for them at every call - no matter how big or small. They use the Brigade ute (Huntly 3226) at calls as it is fully kitted out with Op support gear. That vehicle also responds to the medical calls.
All the Brigade expects from people wanting to join their Op support team is to have the right amount of dedication to the job, be physically capable of carrying out tasks, and be available for training and call outs.
