Kaiapoi Operational Support

Kaiapoi Volunteer Fire Brigade attends around 300 calls per year. Incidents typically include Structure Fires, Motor Vehicle Crashes, Medical Calls and Vegetation Fires. The brigade operates 1 pump and 1 PRT including an Operational Support Team with a support van and 4wd utility.
The Operational Support team members conduct Home Fire Safety visits and coordinate all support functions during incidents including, assisting with BA recommissioning, scene management and post incident recovery activities e.g. home occupant support following structure fires. They currently have 5 Operational Support Team members.
