Waverley Operational Support

Waverley Volunteer Operational Support Unit has been actively involved in serving the community since the late 1990's.  They respond in a Mitsubishi L300 van, which was self funded, which carries personal safety gear, LED wands, road cones, signs, radios, defibrillator and two resuscitation kits.
The Operational Support unit trains every Tuesday night with the Brigade, and attend every call out. So when the appliance rolls out, Operational Support are right behind them. Some of the members have completed basic Fire-fighter training. The unit is also very involved in many annual community activities including Market days, Christmas parades and the local AMP show. Members also have an active role in the Brigade's Fire Safety Team. The Waverley Operational Support unit consider themselves to be very fortunate as they are fully accepted and appreciated by their Brigade. They all work as a team and compliment and support each other.
