Napier Operational Support

Although one of the oldest units in the country, the Napier Operational Support unit are still going strong with 12 current members. They cover Napier and Hastings, as well as over a 100km radius of the surrounding area, and operates with Taupo OSU when required.
The unit is based at Napier Fire Station and responds in their Ultra Light which has been converted to suit its purpose. The vehicle carries extensive traffic management equipment, lighting, salvage and first aid equipment, and has the ability to be a Canteen Unit if needed.
Napier Operational Support attend MVA's, K99's, hazmat jobs, second alarms, natural disasters, and will assist NZ Police when required.
