Ngatea Operational Support

Ngatea is located on State Highway 2 about 23km north of Paeroa. The Volunteer Fire Brigade attends around 125 calls a year, which are mostly MVAs and structure fires
The Operational Support members are specifically trained in traffic management at MVAs. Additionally, training is also provided in using portable pumps and building portable dams, as well as all generally firefighting duties, with the exception of using BA and ladders.
