Himatangi Beach Operational Support

Himatangi Beach sits on the west coast, mid-way between Whanganui and Paraparaumu. The Volunteer Fire Brigade responds to a variety of calls including structure fires, vegetation fires, medical assist, and motor vehicle crashes. Addtionally, they are occasionally called to accidents on the beach itself, and in the dunes.

The Operational Support members perform all firefighter tasks, except from wearing B.A and working within hot zones.
