Tirau Operational Support

The Tirau Operational Support unit is kept busy attending around 180 calls a year assisting Putaruru, Matamata, Cambridge, and as a 1st response to Ambulance calls.
Tirau 8533 is a Mazda ute and carries a ranges of medical equipment, all of which is funded and maintained by the Tirau Volunteer Fire Brigade. The members are trained in safety, first aid, traffic and crowd control and patient recovery.
